Description

Own the relationship between Timberland and multiple licensee partners in selected categories, to include the planning/reporting of their business, oversight of their product and marketing, distribution, COC compliance, adherence to contractual and regulatory commitments, and rolling 5-year plan for growth. Accountable for supporting the licensee to achieve annual financial targets. Establish control-related standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 5;
• Bachelor degree or equivalent, MBA preferred. 5 years of related work experience. Knowledge of product management, marketing, and retail/wholesale trade required. International experience a plus.

Skills:
• Must have strong management, written/oral communication (in English), problem solving and analytical skills are required;
• Must be able to interact fluently and confidently with C-level members of 3rd party licensees, and represent the brand and company with distinction;
• Computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes required.

Special Requirements:
Willingness and availability to travel domestic and international up to 15% required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the relationship between Timberland and multiple licensee partners in selected categories, to include the planning/reporting of their business, oversight of their product and marketing, distribution, COC compliance, adherence to targets and commitments, and rolling 5-year plan for growth;
2. Manage all aspects of licensee seasonal product development, to include: adherence to creative direction; evaluation of product at discrete milestones; integration of licensed product programs with global brand strategies and capsules (product and marketing), GTM milestones and seasonal material/color palette;
3. Maintain and monitor records of all contractual commitments between Timberland and licensee, to include product specifications, compliance letters, royalty reconciliations, and startup/wind-down specific items;
4. Represent licensees to internal constituencies, including global marketing, wholesale sales, and legal for approvals related to ongoing business;
5. Facilitate collaborative sales/GTM efforts with key wholesale accounts, PR events, trade shows, and other collaborations;
6. Facilitate interactions/SMU development to maximize Timberland revenue within DTC via licensed products;
7. Support Licensing’s strategic growth initiatives;
8. Participate and contribute as required with regard to contract negotiation/renewals.
