The Landesverband der Volkshochschulen Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. performs the following three Grundtvig-Workshops on the subject literacy in 2014.
Storytelling as a motivating method when learning the written language.
Date: 11 - 17 May 2014.
Deadline for application 02 March 2014.
Strengthening political and cultural involvement – media competence.
Date: 29.06. - 05.07. 2014
Deadline for application 11 April 2014.
Brain-friendly teaching and learning in adult education.
Date: 20 - 26 July 2014.

Target group:
Target group of the workshop are teachers and volunteers, who have to do in your work with adult literacy.
Brief information:
At each workshop can be 15 interested to participate from the 28 EU Member States and Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, Croatia and Switzerland. Each workshop lasts 5 days. Arrival is always on Sunday prior to the workshop. The departure is planned for the Saturday after the workshop.
Costs:
All costs (travel expenses, accommodation expenses, meal expenses, meeting costs) are funded by the European Union. Since the workshop will be held in Germany, German participants receive no financial support.
Working language:
The workshop language is English. Individual parts are held in German. Interested parties should have good knowledge of English and German.
