The international workshop “Adult Literacy Within European Identity” aims to bring together participants involved in adult literacy education to improve their practical competences of teaching and organizational management and to share pedagogical practices of adult literacy. KASTA MORRELY is an international cultural association of human rights defense through promotion of competences and qualifications necessary to the development of a democratic society. Kasta Morrely is recognized for training European opinion leaders in several domains of activity and we had the pleasure to have projects given as model of good practices at European level. The international workshop “Adult Literacy Within European Identity” will take place in Iasi, Romania, on 18-27 June 2014 (17 June 2014 – arrival day, 28 June 2014– departure day) and is funded by European Commission through Grundtvig Program. The project is prepared and coordinated by multi qualified Kasta Morrely specialists with recognized results achieved in previous international projects. The workshop “Adult literacy within European identity” is addressed to staff and professionals working in the field of adult literacy education, interested to develop their competences and pedagogical work in the field of adult literacy.
The workshop will:
• support the development and sharing of innovate quality teaching practices in literacy of adults and adults with special needs;
• develop competences and pedagogical methodology for teachers and staff involved in adult literacy.
The workshop promotes and applies principles of active participation. The participants will share pedagogical methods and know-how of innovative methods and techniques in providing literacy education to adults and adults with special needs, will study and develop original methods of adult literacy.
Profile of participants:
The Grundtvig Workshop is opened to professionals working in the field of adult literacy education
• Staff and professionals active within organizations, institutions, authorities working in the field of adult literacy;
• Aged over 25;
• Good level of English (this will be the working language of the workshop);
• Possibility to disseminate the project outcomes;
• To be citizen of a Lifelong Learning Programme country.
Travel, board and lodging:
Travel:
The travel cost will be reimbursed 100%, on the base of the financial documents required by the program financial guidelines.
Only the participants who attend the entire workshop can be reimbursed.
Accommodation:
Board and lodging will be provided in Iasi, Romania.
Please do not buy the travel tickets until the publication of the participants’ selection.
Candidates may be selected, rejected or registered on a reserve list. The selection will be made on the base of the filled application, also respecting the rules which have been approved by his/her Lifelong Learning / Grundtvig National Agency. These include rules on the minimum number of participants from a varied number of countries.
