Alumni Newsletter - August 2015
Dear Alumni,
We are happy to send you the ESN Alumni Newsletter:
• Summary of the Alumni Medley Szeged
Accomodated in cozy bungalows a good dozen of alumni enjoyed a weekend in Hungary including a boat trip and traditional fish soup. After the informative city trip we had nice "pleanaries" in a garden restaurant. The new communication tool was introduced and the boards plan on how to procede with the creation of the alumni association was discussed. The participating alumni tended towards keeping the starutes and the organisation simple and the membership fee low with the default amount a bit higher. The informal approach was appreciated by most and it was mentioned that the discussions that concern everyone should be held online so that everyone that wants can participate.
• Updates about Alumni Association
Almost 100 people answered our association consultation survey! We are now analysing the answers and start to draft statutes accordingly. You will hear from us once we are done so stay tuned. We will use the new communication platform for the discussions so get comfortable with it: http://atrium.esn-alumni.org.
• Communication Platform - Circle of interests
We launched a new communication platform that fills in the gap between the mailinglist with everyone and the discussions during a meeting. We will use it for the organisation of the circle of interests and discussions related to the organisation of the alumni. You will get more information when we launch the discussion about the statutes of the new association. You can find it here: http://atrium.esn.org.
• Next Alumni Medley
The Alumni Board already received an application for the next medley even without a formal open call. In case someone was waiting for the open call to send us their application we are herewith opening the call for the Alumni Medley OC for the alumni medley in Autumn 2015. The deadline is Sunday August 16 at 23:59 CEST to give everyone enough time to read the newsletter, contact the Alumni Board if you have questions.
• Update: Alumni t-shirts
Some time ago we launch small Alumni promo campaign with 4 cool t-shirt designs. We managed to collect 25 orders, you can see live results below. Soon we will launch new orders and a small competition for the new slogans. Keep your eyes open :)
