Summary: Youth Inclusion through Entrepreneurial Learning Drive "YIELD" uses non-formal education methods aiming to develop entrepreneurial competences of 30 youth workers from 6 different countries: Sweden, France, Bulgaria, Italy, Poland and Lithuania.
Target group: Youth workers, Youth leaders.
For participants from: Bulgaria, France, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden.
Group size: 30 participants.
Details:
YIELD refers to the actionable verb "to yield" which means to produce an income or a return on investment. Hence, the training course is an opportunity to yield insightful and positive outcomes by gathering 30 youth workers/leaders, young entrepreneurs, and youth with fewer opportunities from European countries. The project also aims to promote entrepreneurial learning among youth as a way to foster their implication in society and reduce youth unemployment.
The training will reach the following objectives:
• Clarify the meaning of youth entrepreneurship in different cultures and countries;
• Identify potential benefits of entrepreneurial learning in Erasmus+;
• Identify the barriers lading to youth exclusion from labour market;
• Share business / project planning tools and methods in order to encourage and prepare young people to engage in entrepreneurial activities, entrepreneurial learning and improve the key competences of participants;
• Identify resources and challenges needed to implement entrepreneurial initiatives;
• Offer space for exchanging experiences and good practices in the field of entrepreneurial learning among three fields: non-formal education, formal education and business case studies;
• Encourage international and cross-sector partnerships and drive resources for future cooperation;
• Motivate and empower young people to become promoters (ambassadors) of entrepreneurship, either on local or on international level in order to achieve a sustainable impact and create an Entrepreneurship support network of youth workers/leaders in order to concretize future projects;
• Apply principles of entrepreneurial learning through social entrepreneurship and youth work.
The project methodology is based on non-formal education and informal education. Peer to peer education will also be used, valorising the knowledge and experiences of the youth workers.
Costs:
Accommodation and meals are provided by the hosting organization. The travel costs are reimbursed up to the following limits: Sweden – 0 €; Italy – 360 €; France – 275 €; Lithuania – 275 €; Poland – 275 €; Bulgaria – 275 €. There's a participation fee of 35 €.
