Details:
According to the renewed framework for the european cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018), particular attention needs to be directed in providing more equal opportunities for young people in order to raise their participation. Promoting youth exchanges and volunteering opportunities can have a strong impact on the European youth by upgrading their skills. Hence, this seminar targets youth workers, trainers and project managers who design educational programs and provide opportunities for youth.
Specific Objectives (aims):
• To get familiar with youth and community work realities in participating countries and their municipalities;
• To hear about the collaboration actions between different stake holders and local initiatives project in different countries;
• To exam opportunities that Erasmus+ has , KA1 and KA2 in particular and how it can be used to make an impact on local and national levels;
• To hear the best practice experiences of Erasmus+ projects that had particularly strong local impact;
• To try out different non-formal education methods that could be used when working with young people and local communities (an Open MIC, Out-door education, Story Telling and Human library in particular);
• To develop network between participating organizations for further european collaborations;
• To brain storm on project ideas that have strong emphasis on local level and could be developed with Erasmus+ framework.
"EUvolve" aims to find clear links between international collaboration practices and its impact on the local level. 03/07 and 11/07 are arrival and departure days.
The partner organizations of this project are: CIE - Sweden; Eurobug - Ireland; Euroimpluse - Spain; CEIPES - Italy; Denizli Belediyesi - Turkey; GEYC - Romania; Olde Vechte - Netherlands; Key for Life - Denmark.
Costs:
Accomodation and meals are provided by the hosting organization. The travel costs are reimbursed up to the following limits: Sweden - 275 €; Netherlands - 0 €; Denmark - 275 €; Ireland - 275 €; Italy - 275 €; Romania - 275 €; Turkey - 360 €; Spain - 275 €. Visa costs are reimbursed up to 60 € for Turkish participants. There's a participation fee of 35 €.
