Candidate Profile
The Pontis Foundation is looking for a sharp, motivated and talented individual to join their Democratization and Development Abroad team, working on projects related to corporate responsibility and corporate philanthropy in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. We expect the ideal candidate to be a true professional with excellent communication skills, and a flair for good organization. The position is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to make a difference.

Work and Education Experience
We are seeking a candidate with practical experience of working either in the NGO, business sector or with a background in corporate responsibility related topics. Preferably we would like our new team member to have a working knowledge of politics and society in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Professional English is a must. Knowledge of the Russian language would be an advantage, but is not essential. The ideal candidate should have a University degree, preferably in the areas of political science, international relations, development, sociology or economics.

Personal Skills
The successful candidate will be a creative thinker, who can express him or herself confidently in both oral and written form. Management skills would also be beneficial. The ideal candidate would be committed to the successful outcome of their projects, working to a budget and to tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a wider team. Good computer skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently, with an attention to detail are essential requirements. The successful candidate should also have the strong desire to contribute to the activities and overall goals of the Pontis Foundation.
