Communication Intern – 2-months Internship Availability: End August-End October 2010
Main missions: - Assistance in the organisation of international fairs, conferences and meetings - Management of the press data base & press clippings - Management of the general mailbox of the department and dissemination of the information - Website monitoring (content updates, uploads, etc.) - General assistance to the department (including proofreading)
Profile: - Fluent English (Native speaker level preferred) and willing to work in a dynamic international association - Degree in communication or equivalent - Strong written and oral communication skills - Excellent organisation skills, flexibility, responsibility - Ability to work independently as well as in team and under pressure -Willingness to travel - First experience in events organisation or as a secretariat assistant is an asset
Important – Conditions: As per Belgian legislation, internships are not paid. However a monthly reimbursement for expenses on a standard basis is planned. Also, as per Belgian legislation, you will need to sign a Convention de Stage (a tripartite agreement signed by EPIA, the intern and his/her university or college). Prospective interns must fulfill this requirement to apply.
