Milieu Ltd is a growing consulting firm based in Brussels with a record of excellence in international and European policy and law – primarily with respect to environmental protection but also in such fields as fundamental rights, public health, consumer protection and health and safety. We provide our expertise mainly for European institutions and other public sector clients.
We are looking for a stagiaire for six month period from mid October to April 2011. The position will be split between work on environmental law and policy projects and some occasional administrative tasks (answering phones, daily post etc).
Requirements:
A degree in law or environmental policy (but if the latter, with a good knowledge of the EU legislative framework) and genuine interest in environmental issues.
Since administrative tasks maybe involved, the stagiaire must be well-organised and able to prioritise a busy and varied work- load. We are looking for someone who is computer literate and particularly confident with Microsoft Word (able to format long documents and tables).
The stagiaire must have excellent English and good French. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
This position will be remunerated.
