VOICE NGO is seeking a motivated and conscientious intern to support the work of its Brussels secretariat. Working in a small dynamic team, the successful candidate will gain insight into functioning of a large European network, experience of communicating with a variety of audiences, and will contribute to VOICE’s influencing of humanitarian policy at an EU level.
Job Description: - Assist in drafting, editing, maintaining and disseminating VOICE communication tools (website, newsletter etc.); - Research on and follow-up of current policy topics related to humanitarian assistance, in order to support VOICE overall communication and advocacy work; - Assist in organising VOICE meetings and events; - Attend external meetings and debates on relevant topics if required; - Report on events and meetings; - Support in maintaining the databases of contacts and mailing lists; - Provide support to the VOICE Secretariat in any other relevant tasks.
Requirements: - Relevant master degree-level education - Demonstrated interest in the EU and Humanitarian Aid - Fluent written and spoken English and (preferably) French - Motivated team player and enthusiastic personality - Minimum period of an internship is three months, but longer is preferred - Full time preferred, but half time can be discussed - Starting date: beginning of January
