Methodological-training on the subject of Europe

Context - course description

Jugend für Europa and Interkulturelles Zentrum, the German and Austrian National Agency for the programme YOUTH IN ACTION are offering, in collaboration with SALTO South East Europe Resource Centre, a methodological training for (potential) applicants on the subject of ‘Europe’.

The training focuses on the learning of practical exercises in order to stimulate a perspective change and a sensitisation for the European dimension within youth projects. The content of the training includes methods which range from short warming-up exercises to knowledge and/or experience-based approaches. The selected methods are accessible without any major methodological knowledge and allow the participants to use these methods with target groups who do not have any specific knowledge on the subject of Europe. Furthermore, these methods are applicable in multi-lingual settings.

Thus, the training is set out as a supporting-tool for the (potential) applicants of YOUTH IN ACTION, EVS-trainers and EuroPeers, in order to use the acquired methods in their own projects and trainings, to foster the European dimension, and consequently also to improve the overall quality of the projects.

For this training we are looking for a trainer who would implement the training in collaboration with a second trainer.
