About youthNET
youthNET is a multiregional civil society and youth network born officially in 2009. In the past it was born as a youth NGO networking and empowerment initiative, which was focused on a first stage as South East Europe project, providing trainings to empower the youth civil society on leadership, project management, organizational management, and there and establish partnership with EU based youth organizations. The second step was to transfer the good practice to the Commonwealth of Independent States, by implementing a similar format in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Finally its continued its South East European work through the long term programme Creative Partnerships, and then started to consier the idea of becoming a multiregional network, as it did in 2009. The main aim is to improve local civil and youth policies through building transnational co-operation and activities with a direct impact on the communities and realities of its partners in terms of civil society empowerment and enhancement of public participation. So far youthNET counts over 30 partner organizations from the European Union, Eastern Europe and Caucasus and South Eastern Europe. For more information visit www.youthnetonline.eu
