Call for trainers for "EastWestEVS" Training Course

We are looking for 2 trainers, who will be involved in preparation and carrying out of the "EastWestEVS" Training Course in 2011.

Please, first read the information about the training, its aims, elements as well as pax profile!

- TC Duration: Five full working days - participants arrival 17th October until evening (Monday), departure 23rd October from morning (Sunday) 2011.
- TC Place: Sofia, Bulgaria.


Prep-meeting: Organisers decided to run on-line preparations after the trainers team is identified. This most of all includes some getting-to-know and team integration as well as on-line work on programme proposal, sessions outlines, materials list etc. Due to such kind of preparations all the team will meet two days before the activity to polish the work (team arrival day is Saturday 15th October.

The team departure is Sunday 23rd October, preferably after lunch to give us time for evaluation.


TRAINERS' PROFILE

Candidates shall:

- have excellent knowledge of the European Community's Youth in Action Programme, in particular Action 2;
- be experienced in cooperation between Programme and EECA countries;
- have at least 3 experiences as trainer at international training courses in similar field;
- have ability to give a theoretical input in such fields as International Youth Work, Project Management, Group Dynamics & Motivation, Non-formal Education, Partnership building, etc.;
- have very good level of both spoken and written English language;
- be familiar with educational approaches relevant in the Non-Formal learning / International Youth Work sector;
- be able to draw for their work as a trainer from a variety of formal, informal and non-formal learning experiences;
- have basic skills of time management and commit to keep agreed deadlines.


TASKS / DUTIES OF TRAINERS

The tasks of the Trainers include the following:

- to be active at preparation stage using on-line tools to meet organisers demands;
- theoretical and practical preparation of the participants prior they arrival for the event;
- to reconfirm the preparations of the training course also 2 days before the event and evaluate it after the TC (arrival of team Saturday 15th October, team departure Sunday 23rd October, preferably after lunch);
- to implement the training for about 26 participants;
- to evaluate the training;
- to prepare a report maximum 3 months after the activity that will focus at the outcomes and effects of the training and not on presenting only sessions flow;
- writing up electronically all new methods and tools used during the training onto the Toolbox on the SALTO website.


FINANCIAL CONDITIONS

- Taking into consideration the regular nature of the training course each trainer will be paid a fixed rate of 1800 euro.
- In addition, travel, board and lodging of the Trainers will be fully covered by the organisers. The amount will be paid upon compilation of the work.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection will be carried out by the organisers, based on the criteria specified in the "trainers profile" section. The selected trainers will be informed directly by June 18th 2011.
