The training course will take place in Croatia (Preko) from 22nd June (arrival in the early afternoon) to 1th July (departure in the morning after the breakfast) 2011.
The training course “Quality in education of volunteers working for inclusive society” is gathering 24 participants from 6 countries: Croatia, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia, Germany, Romania. The project is being held on Island Ugljan and lasts 10 days.
Target group of this training course are active youth workers who are involved and are working with ethnical or religious minorities or with youth that are minorities by some other criteria or are socially excluded.
This course aims to achieve the following objectives:
- introduce ourselves with different ways of social exclusion in countries of partners and with the way of work, projects and activities of the partners;
- discuss about legal framework on volunteering;
- empower participants for facilitation of educational activities and for planning and organising further training of volunteers, in order to empower other volunteers in their organisation and community for working on the activities for development of inclusive society;
- introduce the programme Youth in Action;
The language of the training course will be English.
The participants should fulfil the following criteria:
- Age above 18;
- Willing to get involved as facilitators of education activities in projects working for inclusive society; participants that in their communities work with ethnical or religious minorities or with youth that are minorities by some other criteria or are socially excluded;
- Able to work in English;
- Willing to share the new knowledge with the members of their organization once they get back;
- Able to attend the entire duration of the course.
Travel costs reimbursement
70% of travel costs will be reimbursed only for the cheapest way of transport and preferably for the return tickets. For Italian participants, max travel reimbursed is 245 euro (70% of 350 Euro).
