MTS, Europe's premier electronic fixed income trading market is looking for a Technical Analyst.
Essential Duties and Responsabilities
- Analyze the requirements for a wide range of applications such as corporate data warehouse, data distribution apps and reporting systems and develop technical requirements for software vendors and internal developers;
- Suggest technical solutions, specify implementation details, formalize and document the solution agreed;
- Carry out hands-on tactical/rapid application development;
- Perform pro-active maintenance and common application administration tasks;
- Manage application changes on test and production environments;
- Ensure that agreed deadlines related to relevant projects are met;
- Interact and provide technical support for other MTS teams like Product Management, Client Services, Market Monitoring and Accounting.
Experiences and skills
- 3+ years of experience in systems or technical analysis;
- Financial industry background is a plus;
- Hands-on experience with web applications, core Java and J2EE technology;
- General knowledge of Data Warehouse/BI solutions;
- Oracle/SQL knowledge;
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environment;
- Unix shell and Perl scripts;
- Any project management skills would be beneficial;
- Language: English (written and spoken).

- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to communicate clearly, constructively and concisely to peers and end-users;
- Good Analytical skills and problem solving attitude.
