Eures looking Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Job profile:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is a senior management role and is responsible for managing a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers and Technicians as well as for the coordination of multi functional teams which are responsible for all aspects of new project preparation and delivery.
He/she is fully responsible for the strategic development of the manufacturing plant, implementation of effective solutions for new product introductions, ongoing support of manufacturing methods, capital expenditure planning as well as applicability of new technologies.
Main Duties:
The specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Directs the execution of all engineering related activities.
- Provide leadership and best practices to the Engineering team (Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers and Technicians etc).
- Oversee the workload balance of each engineer and technician.
- Collaborate with production to reduce warranty costs through improvements of our manufacturing process.
Direct report to Plant Manager.
Key Skills/Personal Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the engineering field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
- Working experience as an Engineering Manager, preferably in the automotive field.
- Proven record in leading and developing a professional team.
- Understand and guide technical issues from a senior management level.
- Capable of managing priorities, application of structured problem solving techniques, risk management techniques, project management control.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural organization and to provide direction and leadership.
Location: Timisoara, Romania
Contract type: Permanent
