Stage di 6 mesi a Bruxelles con Eurodesk

Eurodesk è la principale fonte di informazioni sulle politiche europee e le opportunità per i giovani ed ha una rete di coordinatori nazionali collegate ad oltre 900 centri di informazione locali e partner in 33 paesi europei.

Eurodesk Link Bruxelles (EBL) coordina le attività dei partner nazionali, che operano come una struttura di supporto permanente per la gioventù dell'Unione Europea.

La rete inoltre aggiornamenti e gestisce i contenuti sul Portale europeo della gioventù.

La EBL sta reclutando uno stagista retribuito per un periodo di 6 mesi, a partire il più presto possibile, per la sua sede di Bruxelles.


Tasks

• Researching and updating European information in the Eurodesk database and the European Youth Portal;
• Identifying and writing news items for the Eurodesk Network and the European Youth Portal;
• Writing the monthly EBL bulletin
• Answering enquiries;
• Supporting with the creation/revision of training materials;
• Supporting in network activities and European level meetings;
• Providing basic technical assistance when needed;
• Other duties as directed by the head of the EBL office.


Profile of Applicants

• Any academic background is requested but experience of working in NGO’s, or volunteering experience would be good;
• Knowledge and interest in youth policy and youth related issues;
• Available for six months, full-time, starting as soon as possible.


Skills and Competencies Required

• Drafting and editing skills for text targeting the network;
• able to research, analyse and summarise information;
• able to work in an international environment;
• very good written and oral skills in English;
• have excellent computer skills: online research, basic html skills, experience of working with online content management systems, excellent MS office skills;
• additional experience with design/drawing programmes would be helpful.


Conditions:

The dates for the internship are 15th November 2011 to 11th May 2012. Work during the internship is on a full time basis in line with the regular working hours of the EBL (38h/week).

The intern will be based in Brussels, with an internship according to the Belgian Convention d’immersion professionelle contract. A monthly contribution of 700 EUR towards living expenses will be provided.
