Call for Trainer "DemoPeople" - Poland

SALTO Inclusion is looking a trainer for a partnership building activity on Action 1.3 and 5.1 of the Youth in Action Programme:

- 24-29 April 2012, near Warsaw, Poland.
- Prep-meeting 10-11 January 2012, Warsaw, Poland.
- Trainer fee = 1840 Euro.
- Deadline to apply witth the form attached: 15 December 2011.


"DemoPeople” Seminar

The Polish National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme is looking for trainers who will be involved in preparation and carrying out of the „DemoPeople" Partnership Building Activity on Action 1.3. and 5.1 of the Youth in Action Programme.


Aim of the Seminar

To enable participants to establish a permanent international cooperation in the field of youth active citizenship and increase the quantity and improve the quality of Action 1.3 and 5.1. projects.


Objectives

- to supply the knowledge of guidelines and rules of Actions 1.3 & 5.1;
to supply the information about planning the implementation of Action 1.3 & 5.1 projects;
- to create space for building international partnership;
- to create space for sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences & good practices;
- to plan future 1.3 & 5.1 projects.


How to do it

- by experiencing the change;
- by combining diverse potential-based approaches towards problems and challenges;
- by working on practical tools to be implemented in youth organizations and youth groups.


Target group of the Seminar

- represent youth organization or informal group, local authorities, work in local governments or other public institutions, act as employees or volunteers in NGOs, community centers, youth clubs, schools;
- don’t have experience in implementing 1.3 / 5.1 projects;
- have ideas and potential partners to develop a 1.3 / 5.1 project;
- have earnest interest and possibility within their organisation/group (green light from their hierarchy/colleagues) to set up a 1.3 / 5.1 project after the seminar;
- are able to communicate and work in English;
- are adults;
- are residents of any of the Programme Countries.

Participants are expected to have knowledge of the Youth in Action Programme.

Participants of Seminar: 10 Polish participants and 20 participants from all of the YiA Programme Countries.


Dates and venue of the Seminar

- Place: Konstancin-Jeziorna (in the neighbourhood of Warsaw), Poland.
- Proposed dates: 24 (arrival participants)-29 (departure participants) April 2012 (trainers arrive one day before).


Team

- 2 trainers - responsible for programme flow, methodology and final report. 1 foreign trainer and 1 member of Polish Trainers Pool;
- representatives of the Polish NA – responsible for the organisational part of the seminar (concept, promotion of the training, co-operation with other NAs, recruitment of participants, logistics, etc.).


Trainers’ profile

- experienced in non-formal education;
- experienced in the topic of the Seminar;
- experienced in carrying out trainings and seminars related to youth project management, risk management and international communication, partners building;
- have at least experience in carrying out not less than 3 international seminars as a trainer;
- have knowledge about the Youth in Action Programme with a special focus on Actions 1.3 and 5.1;
- have very good level of spoken and written English language;
- have knowledge of youth policy and democratic issue.


Trainer’s fee

8 paid days (230 € per day)

- 4 working days during the seminar;
- plus 4 days for preparation and evaluation (including individual and team preparation, prep-meeting, on-going and final evaluation directly after the training + final report; prep-meeting dates and final report are not extra paid);
- board, lodging and travel costs are covered by organisers.


Preparatory meeting

The prep-meeting is planned on 10-11.01.2012 and will be held in Warsaw.
