QVC è un canale tv interamente dedicato a un nuovo modo di fare shopping. QVC ricerca IT eCommerce Project Manager (Rif. CR EM).
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this position will oversee the activity of the IT eCommerce group, supervise and lead software development for Interactive applications, such as Web, Mobile Applications and other emerging technologies.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- To lead the design, creation and development of new interactive platforms and applications;
- To research and identify improvements for all eCommerce and interactive applications and to provide detailed technical plans for implementation;
- To lead a team of web developers implementing budgeted capital expenditure projects;
- To assist and support the operation and development of the IT eCommerce group;
- To create and manage project plans for all enhancements and project work across the IT eCommerce group;
- To provide support for existing services to ensure their continued performance;
- To manage and improve existing functionalities and content based on business requirements;
- To analyze the technical training needs of the department and make training recommendations for the staff;
- To recruit, develop and motivate IT eCommerce group engineers in order to develop potential and to meet QVC's requirements;
- To ensure that all systems staff are kept up to date and trained as appropriate in relevant technologies;
- To keep abreast of current and new technology and processes and advise best practice.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of project management experience;
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills;
- Relevant experience of system development in a commercial environment;
- Exposure to one or more of: Internet technologies, Java, Linux, PHP, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Zend Framework, MySQL;
- Ability to asses and evaluate the latest trends and development technologies in the retail and IT industries;
- Excellent problem solving skills;
- Flexibility.
