QVC è un canale tv interamente dedicato a un nuovo modo di fare shopping. QVC ricerca Data Warehouse & BI Specialist (Rif. DWH LM)
Reporting to the Applications Manager, this position will analyze, plan, manage, shape priorities, coordinate interactions with internal clients, and keep data warehouse and analysis reporting system project focused through the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of efficient, cost effective application development solutions for QVC Italia.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- All assigned projects through final delivery, ensuring client satisfaction, meeting timelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Understand business requirements and be able to translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop and document project parameters including scope, schedule, budgets, and specifications; create, update and monitor project plans for project.
- Develop new applications in compliance with approved architecture and software standards.
- Develop systems for data warehouse and analysis reporting systems.
- Provide effective leadership in production support of 24 hour systems to accurately resolve production problems in a timely manner.
- Able to identify the components of a complex process problem or inefficiency by breaking down the data and/or concepts into understandable segments to look at root causes and determine resolvable solutions.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes to allow for smooth execution of projects.
- Maintain project documentation, including project initiation requests, and project plans.
Requirements:
- Over 5-8 years of overall IT experience.
- 4-6 years of applications development.
- Knowledge of Data warehouse (Micro strategy, Essbase etc.) , Analysis reporting system, ERP, Java, J2EE, XML, VB, ASP, SQL, Oracle, SQL server, ESB, UNIX, Linux, Windows.
- Knowledge of Data analysis and reporting for Retail business, and Data Modeling and the application of technology in achieving business objectives.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in both technical and non-technical terms.
- Leverage new and existing technology to increase work effectiveness.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to quickly understand new technology concepts
- Serve as role model for the QVC values.
- Desire and ability to travel.
- Verbal and written English language fluency
