Job description
As a Bar Server you will:
• Provide friendly and efficient service in cocktail lounges, tropical deck bars, cafes, fast-paced, nightclubs and Castaway Cay beaches;
• Practice up selling and suggestive selling techniques;
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of areas to meet United States Public Health (USPH) standards;
• Work with a diverse team of 975 Crew Members (60 on the Beverage Team) of over 50 nationalities;
• Learn the finer details about dozens of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits.
Qualifications:
Professional training, experience, language skills etc.
Essential requirements:
• To be between at least 21 years old;
• To be fluent in English;
• To have at least 2 years of recent full time experience in high volume bar or cockatil lounge;
• A solid knowledge of cocktail recipes and international alcohol brands.
Desirable requirements:
• Flair is a plus;
• To be Guest orientated, flexible and team minded, to have an outgoing personality with talent for up selling;
• Hotel school degree is a plus.
Place of work: Cruise Ship sailing all around the world (mostly Caribbeans, Mediteranean see, US West Coast...).
Hours per week: 80 Hours a week.
Contract:
6 Months renewable contract.
Starting date: Departures all year round depending on your availabilities.
