A live web chat with Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, will take place on Monday 26 March from 14.30-15.30h CET (Central European Time).
Commissioner Hahn will answer questions relating to the plans for cohesion policy during the 2014-2020 funding period. The web chat follows on from:
- The legislative proposals for cohesion policy during the period 2014-2020 that were adopted by the Commission on 6 October 2011;
- The "Common Strategic Framework", which intends to help Member States and regions in setting clear investment priorities for 2014-2020, that was presented by the Commission on 14 March 2012.
The web chat will be hosted on RegioNetwork 2020, an online platform which the European Commission has set up to encourage exchanges and cooperation on EU regional policy. In order to join the web chat, you will need to create a profile on RegioNetwork 2020 and click on the 'access the chat' button on the homepage at 14.30h on 26 March.
