Call for Trainers - TC 4.3/3.1 Social Maps

We are searching for the trainer for a TC 4.3/3.1 that will take place in Poland 9-16.03.2013 in Wroclaw. We are looking for a longer and cooperation with a chosen trainer in the training field.

Description of the project
Social Map™ of our local surroundings at the beginning – Europe at the end is a training course about preparing Social Map™ of local surroundings in order to achieve in efficient way Social Aims of you NGO.

Social Map™ - is a map that shows the full scope of your society towards given subject. Observing the Social interaction within the society is the main aspects of Youth in Action Program. We will show a Usage of Social Map™ to promote subjects like: active citizenship, solidarity, and tolerance among young Europeans. Involvement of young people in shaping the Union's future.

During the seminar you will learn how to create such map. For the training we will use the knowledge form this areas:
• Marketing and business in general
• Informal education.

For this training course we would like to have a professional team in these 2 areas that have a unique and great knowledge about this topic. The trainers should have a great theoretical background (at least in one of the main areas) but as the most important the trainers will be highly experienced with great number of success in theirs professional careers (at least in one of the main areas). As in the highest professional level all is about socio-marketing matching during this training course we will present this tool to reach the social aims!

During the meeting participants will get the knowledge how to observe theirs local surroundings, how to take result oriented actions in theirs local surrounding, and hot to reach European dimension within the action in Youth in Action Program. On the training there will be also presented how to run a self-organized project of making a position of Social Brand Manager in NGO. After the training the participants should have all the knowledge how to organize such a position in theirs NGO, how to motivate the volunteers and how to benefit from Social Brand Manager work in theirs NGO.

Having experience in the Social Brand Manager is also a great possibility for the youngsters to find easier a future Job in Marketing/PR departments. Also one of the main aims of the training course is promoting entrepreneurship and self-development of participant in the NGO. Work in NGO can be a great introduction before future professional career.

Aim
To improve the quality of youth projects and other international activities

Objectives
• to exchange best practices and experiences from International projects;
• to get to know organizations which took part in YOUTH or YOUTH IN ACTION Program;
• to make new International contacts and create new projects in the frame of YOUTH IN ACTION Program.

Target group of the training
• Young people who do not have yet ready projects but strong motivation to cooperate within the Program countries, possible 3rd partners like (Azejberdzan, Georgia, Belarus and Russia);
• Have interest and possibility within their organisation to make new project under the Youth in Action Program;
• Are able to communicate and work in English;
• Are 15-30 years old.

Dates and venue of the training:
Place: Wroclaw (or in neighbourhood of Wroclaw), Poland
Dates: from 9 March (arrivals by 6pm) to 16 March 2013 (departure day)

Team
• 2 trainers - responsible for programme flow, methodology and training report;
• One facilitator/trainer – responsible for the organisational part of the training – concept, promotion of the training, recruitment of participants, logistics etc. and selected training parts.

Requested trainer profile:
• Experience in working with young people;
• Experience in non-formal education;
• Experience in conducting trainings and seminars (also success in Appling for TC);
• Knowledge about YOUTH and Youth in Action programme;
• Familiar with youth participation issues;
• Have facilitation skills;
• Able to deliver workshops on partnership building and communication;
• Communicating in English.

Trainers fee
• following SALTO model and SALTO fees – 14 paid days;
• 7 working days during the training;
• 7 days for preparation and evaluation (including individual and team preparation, on-going and final evaluation directly after the training + final report (final report are not extra paid);
• board, lodging and travel costs are covered by organisers for trainers team;
