Call for trainers: Eastern Express training course - SALTO EECA, Finish and Danish NA - Deadline 10th January 2013.
SALTO EECA, Finish and Danish NAs is looking for 2 trainers, who will be involved in preparation and carrying out of the "Eastern Express" Training Course.
The team will be preferably composed from one trainer form EECA country and one from a Programme Country.

TC Duration: Five working days - arrival 18th March until evening (Monday), departure 24th March from morning (Sunday) 2013. The team will arrive one day earlier for the preparation.
TC Place: Ukraine
Prep-meeting: Two working days: 7-8 February 2013 (7th Feb -Thursday - we expect trainers to arrive before noon, 9th Feb – Friday - we expect trainers to leave in the evening).
Trainers profile
Candidates shall:
• have excellent knowledge of the “Youth in Action” programme, in particular Action 3.1;
• be experienced in cooperation between Programme and Neighbouring partner countries, especially in Youth Exchanges;
• have ability to give a theoretical input in such fields as International Youth Work, European Citizenship, Project Management, Group Dynamics & Motivation, Intercultural Learning, Youth Participation in youth exchanges, Non-formal Education;
• have very good level of both spoken and written English language (knowledge of Russian will be an asset);
• be familiar with educational approaches relevant in the Non-Formal learning / International Youth Work sector;
• be able to draw for their work as a trainer from a variety of formal, informal and non-formal learning experiences.
Tasks / Duties of Trainers
The tasks of the Trainers include the following:
• active participation in the preparatory meeting;
• be ready to conduct theoretical and practical preparation of the participants prior they arrival for the event;
• be ready to take part in the preparation 1 day before the (arrival of team Sunday 17 Martch 2013), implementation of the training for about 24 participants;
• evaluation of the training;
• preparation the training's report;
• writing up electronically all new methods and tools used during the training onto the Toolbox on the SALTO website.
Financial conditions
Taking into consideration the regular nature of the training course each trainer will be paid a fixed rate of 2100,00 EUR (280 EUR per day of work + 50% for preparation and evaluation, including the final report).
In addition, travel, board and lodging of the Trainers will be covered both for the prep-meeting and event itself. The amount will be paid upon compilation of the work.

Selection procedure
The selection will be carried out by SALTO EECA RC together with Danish and Finnish YiA National Agencies, based on the criteria specified in the "trainers profile" section. The selected trainers will be informed directly by 20 January 2013.
