As part of Timberland's Sales Team, the Account Executive is responsible for representing the Timberland brand with retailers and other prospective customers.The sales territory includes the New England states and the ideal candidate will reside in New England.


Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 7+.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent 7 years Footwear sales experience in a similar industry preferred.Background knowledge of New England Marketplace.

Skills:
Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes.

Special Requirements:
Overnight domestic travel 90% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
1. Identifies opportunities in the marketplace to place Timberland TREE footwear through multiple channels of distribution.
2. Creates a service distinction with our retail partners through detailed account planning and a thorough understanding of our customer’s business.
3. Meets and exceeds assigned seasonal sales operating plans (sell in & sell through) for an assigned territory and/or an assigned group of accounts.
4. Identifies new account opportunities in order to meet growth targets, possesses a thorough understanding of the marketplace (competitor information, consumer understanding, current/future market penetration, etc) and helps drive forecast accuracy.
5. Develops and successfully leverage cross-functional internal relationships (In House Sales, Sales Planning, Marketing, Credit, etc).
6. Ensures proper visual standards are being adhered to by our customers, works proactively and collaboratively with customers to properly leverage marketing programs, and supports and leverages Timberland’s commerce and justice platform.
