Works as a member of Product Integrity/Engineering team to produce world-class products that meet or exceed company and category expectations with respect to design, product and brand integrity.

Qualifications
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5.

Educational/Position Requirements: Footwear Industry Experience in Development, Commercialization or Manufacturing. BS or equivalent degree in Engineering.

Skills: Thorough knowledge of footwear related development and manufacturing methods Word, Excel, Email and Web based applications (IE PLM) necessary. Photoshop or other mark-up software a plus.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: Domestic and international travel required up to 20% of the time.


Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with Lead and Sr Engineers to ensure product is ready for manufacturing while maintaining appearance, fit, quality and performance as prescribed by Category Product Team.
2. In collaboration with product design and development, partner with Lead and Sr. Engineers to ensure the proper fit, function and manufacturability of the product line.
3. Actively participate and problem solve with Sr Engineers and product development as product transitions from Line Close to sales samples and into commercialization.
4. Work proactively with Lead and Sr. Engineers at seasonal kick-off, take part in all product related milestones, review specifications, material, construction, fit, pattern and process at each stage providing input as needed.
5. Maintain and provide a clear form of documentation and communication with internal and external colleagues.
6. Proactively seeks learning activities to build business and technical skills.
7. Participate with Lead and Sr. Engineers on seasonal last development.
8. Travel to manufacturing locations, development centers and suppliers to ensure footwear product integrity is properly executed. Work with Lead and Sr. Engineers on seasonal last development.
