UniCredit ricerca: Junior Economic Research Analyst - Fixed Term - Pioneer Global Asset Management.
In this position you will be facing the following tasks:
The candidate is asked to support the team in the analysis of household saving and investment behaviour as well as the evaluation of the asset management market and its potential.
The Economic and Market Research team is responsible to analyse the trends in savings and wealth in order to evaluate the effective and potential markets for the company. Market monitoring also involves client and product trend analysis, client segmentation, country analysis, and the evaluation of the relative positioning of the company versus its competitors. The team also belong to the “Savings Observatory”, a UniCredit network aimed at sharing data and analyses on savings and wealth trends.
Brief Description of Accountabilities:
• Database maintenance;
• Production of periodic reports on the evolution of the asset management market;
• Support in the analyses on household saving and wealth trends;
• Econometric analysis (good knowledge of panel data techniques required);
• Production of research papers on the trends in savings and wealth.
Your profile:
• Research oriented with very strong analytical and quantitative skills;
• First class Degree in Economics/Statistics and related fields;
• Strong econometric background and good knowledge of statistical packages like Stata, R, SPSS;
• Excellent Italian and English oral and written language skills;
• Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills; Business Application Software : Experienced User;
• Strong result oriented: ability to work with tight deadlines and significant workloads;
• PhD or Master in Economics is a plus.
