New Call for Trainers system – TOY
To all trainers in TOY.
We just launched the new Call for Trainers system. People looking for trainers (maybe you or your clients?) can now configure their calls directly online. I just sent an announcement of this new feature to the registered SALTO users and National Agencies.
• Feel free to spread this information to training organisers you might know.
This is how the new Call for Trainers system works
1. Log onto www.salto-youth.net/tools/call-for-trainers/ (or via the Tools dropdown menu on the SALTO website) with your SALTO username & password.
2. Describe the activity or publication you are recruiting trainers for, but also your selection criteria, working conditions, team and the application process.
You can also add downloads to your call with more information (e.g. course description, application form). Click SAVE.

3. SUBMIT your call via your Call for Trainer dashboard – after a brief quality check, the administrator will send your call to all trainers in the TOY database – these have minimum 3 international training experiences.
You sit back to receive the applications and simply select the best one.
- Please be courteous and inform ALL applicants of your selection results.
NOTE – you are responsible to check if the trainer fits your needs (e.g. via the trainer’s references) and negotiate contract, fees and practicalities.
Avoid double work – copy previous calls
Once you have done a call for trainers, it is possible to create a new call based on the previous one. Simply copy and adapt a previous call for trainers – and SUBMIT.
