Twitter ricerca per San Francisco, CA: Product Manager, Recommendations.
Are you interested in helping millions of people around the world build their interest graph? Twitter is looking for an experienced and talented product manager to help us drive the vision and execution of Twitter’s recommendations products. You will leverage the largest real time data set in the world, rich profiles and state of the art retrieval technology to enable the next generation of people recommendations. You will work with multiple teams to define the capabilities that users around the world will use to build rich and relevant interest graphs.
Responsibilities:
• Understand Twitter's strategy and competitive position, and build a roadmap for the recommendation products which supports and extends Twitter's strategy;
• Understand the needs of consumers and prioritize enhancements and new feature ideas for recommendations;
• Leverage existing GEO assets and drive enhancements to existing framework to deliver the most locally relevant recommendations experience;
• Write product briefs and specifications, and collaborate with engineering to build and ship high quality experiences;
• Define appropriate distribution channels for recommendations including timeline, email, logged out experiences and mobile integrations;
• Be a driving force in assembling the resources necessary to ship high-impact products and features, and facilitate communication throughout the development process inside Twitter;
• Define methods for quantifying success (or failure) and ensure that the team has a clear ability to understand and articulate its objectives.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years product management experience with a strong focus on developing recommendation products at scale;
• Demonstrated experience working with machine learned models and Hadoop jobs;
• Experience and interest in designing simple and functional user interfaces;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment;
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills;
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field is ideal.
