About This Job
The Twitter global advertising product marketing team is looking for a seasoned product marketer to drive revenue through sales strategies, advertiser playbooks, vertical packages/solutions, and market facing storylines. You will deeply understand the needs and daily life of large advertisers across categories / industries / verticals. This market driven insight will enable you define how our sellers should approach advertisers at all stages of the sales cycle. What stories should they use and when? How should sellers motivate more business and overcome objections?

You will work with product marketing, sales packaging, sales, and other teams to document, disseminate, and refine these sales strategies category by category. You will also perform competitive analysis on sales strategy and approach.

To hit the ground running in this role, you will bring a deep understanding the online advertising industry. You will also have a strong selling and story telling sensibility that enables you to uncover customer needs and product benefits to provide solution-selling storylines for sales.

Responsibilities
• Accountable for top line growth;
• Create the sales strategies to sell Twitter’s advertising offerings, motivate larger deals, and overcome objections, category by category;
• Develop category profiles and insights. Own strategic competitive analysis;
• Analyze industry trends, third party data, and spend to uncover opportunities and reinforce our advertiser-facing stories;
• Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast paced environment, especially working across our product and sales teams;
• Create selling strategies and deliver high quality documentation of those strategies including product marketing briefs, FAQs, and objection handling documents.

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree. MBA a plus. Fluency in English;
• 8-12 years of experience;
• Passion for Twitter, selling, storytelling, customer, market dynamics and opportunities;
• Deep understanding of digital advertising. Experience as an advertiser, agency, publisher, or advertising platform preferred;
• 6+ years in product marketing. Sales strategy experience a plus;
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive communications and instruction;
• Experience working in team environments with limited supervision.
