Ermenegildo Zegna ricerca: Assistant General Manager.

We are currently seeking a customer focused, enthusiastic and driven individual to join us as the Assistant General Manager of our Bal Harbour, Miami Boutique.
As the Assistant General Manager you will be part of a dynamic, constantly changing environment, providing you with opportunities to seek and delight customers through leading a team of highly motivated and talented retail professionals. As the Assistant Store Manager you will be the ambassador to our clients for the company image and style focusing on the following key results areas:
Business Development
• Collaborate with the General Manager in maximizing store sales and revenue utilizing all available data, knowledge of the business and market place to consistently seek new opportunities to improve core business;
• Propose Store events to the General Manager to generate business; actively participating in the Community to drive external sales generation;
• Active benchmarking of competitor business and brand activities.
Customer Relationships and Customer Service
• Role model customer service, coaching Sales Consultants in developing long lasting relationships with customers;
• Attract, create and maintain loyal Zegna customers at every opportunity, managing customer relationships and building solid relationships with VIP customers;
• Analyze and utilize CRM data, along with the General Manager setting the direction of the sales team in developing business plans and relationship activities;
• Seeking to provide and lead the sales team to provide service that delights the customer and takes action within a defined customer service framework.
Product
• Develop an in in-depth knowledge of Zegna products to include composition, style and origin;
• Collaborate with GM in executing activities to drive sell-through; pro-actively working with GM, merchandising and planning teams on stock consolidation and transfers;
• Provide feedback on products to GM and merchandising team on buying plans.
Visual & Image Management
• Be the custodian of brand image and Boutique maintenance through Visual Merchandising and guaranteeing Sales Consultants image according to guidelines;
• Along with GM guaranteeing the execution of Visual Merchandising Guidelines & Standards; collaborating with the GM and VM group to analyze slow movers and make VM changes to boost sales
People;
• Work in partnership with the GM to consistently raise the standard of the in-store team through active training, coaching and motivating Associates, increasing sales effectiveness and enhancing the customer experience;
• Assist GM in managing and resolving conflicts, taking disciplinary action as needed to ensure a healthy team environment;
• Partner with GM in recruiting, selecting, hiring and training Store Associates.
Sales Management
• Partner with GM in setting monthly, weekly and daily sales goals delivered with sound action plans to meet and exceed annual plan;
• Assist GM with planning Sales force staffing deployment and store shift management.
Store Operations
• Support efficiency and effectiveness of daily sales activities as well as stock room management to prevent stock shrinkage;
• Collaborate with GM in achieving excellence in retail operations and company standards;
• Ensure consistent and high standards of MTM in-store operations and services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years experience in the retail/hospitality management industry with a proven record of supervising and coaching a team, co-managing a multi faceted operation and consistently taking action to improve service levels. Must exhibit excellent team leadership, customer service, communication, interpersonal and computer skills. Bachelor Degree or equivalent required.
