Scopo dell’attività:
The incumbent will be a leader in the TechOps POS organization in a supervisor role for shop floor personnel such as operators, line mechanics, etc.

Descrizione dell’attività:
Managing a staff of shift personnel to ensure safety and quality compliance are prioritized for manufacturing goals during commercial manufacturing as well as new process introductions (clinical material, stability lots, process validation).

• The incumbent will be responsible for the correct execution of production batch records and preparation of production variance reports.
• The incumbent will be responsible for technical problem solving, operational improvements, and efficiency improvements to reduce operating costs.
• The incumbent will adhere to capital and expense budgets established by their Operations Manager as well as manage within the standards and manpower requirements to meet production requirements.
• Accountable for all activities that occur within the production area/ suite during their shift. Such activities include production, maintenance and validation.
• The incumbent will become a process expert and will serve as a technical resource and coach for the Production team.
• The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining compliant operator training status and complying with standard operating procedures.
• Development and performance management of manufacturing staff will be required.
• Utilize Novartis business systems (SAP, TrackWise, WebTraining, etc.) to ensure timely release of Process Orders, timely execution of Batch Production Records and timely release of manufacturing batches.

Utilize IQP tools to support continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor

Conoscenze professionali/ tecniche:

• Education:
BS in Engineering or Sciences preferred. Equivalent relevant work experience required.

• Languages: Fluent in Italian. English would be beneficial.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years related industry experience, although 5+ years preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements required.
