QVC ricerca Network & Telecommunications Specialist.
Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, the Network & Telecommunication Specialist will work on the network & Telecommunication platform of QVC Italia.
Main activities and responsabilities:
• To install and configure network and telecom active components i.e. PBX, Phones, hubs, routers;
• To perform routine testing and performance analysis of PBX, Routers, and other WAN/LAN equipments;
• Manage internal and external network performance and utilization reporting tools to monitor key network parameters and identify potential problems that can be corrected before they develop further;
• Produce regular usage and performance reports, develop new systems and applications and provide second level support to other members of IT support;
• To assist the planning and development new systems and schedule timely installation;
• To work in conjunction with defined procedures and maintain accurate records where relevant in order to maintain a culture of total quality in everything that the IT department undertakes;
• To provide timely, accurate status reporting to Infrastructure Manager;
• Work closely with internal customers and third party equipment vendors to resolve issues;
• To carry out network design work relating to both software and hardware;
• To develop and maintain accurate documentation for all new and existing network systems and applications;
• To assist in developing written procedures for all aspects of the End User Services support role in the form required by approved quality accreditation schemes.
