QVC ricerca Web Developer / System Engineer.
Reporting directly to the IT e-Commerce Project Manager, the Web Developer / System Engineer will work on the overall platform of infrastructure and services used by QVC Italia’s e-Commerce Web Site and related technologies and tools.
Main activities an accountabilities
• Ensuring the availability of the infrastructure currently used in QVC Italia that provides e-Commerce and related services, by working on the overall infrastructure and optimizing and analyzing the behavior and performance of the different components;
• Gathering and analyzing data, in collaboration with Project Manager or other team members, in order to implement new functionalities or introduce new services;
• Maintain and develop code to automate tasks in the CI/CD processes;
• Looking for new potential services and functionalities that could be included in upcoming projects or that can be used internally.
Requirements: The candidate must be fluent in technical English.
Hard skills
• At least 2 years of experience in maintaining complex Linux-based environments, preferably RHEL or CentOS distributions;
• Good knowledge and previous experience in operating MySQL databases in complex environments;
• Good knowledge and previous experience in operating LAMP and Java applications in complex environments;
• Good knowledge and previous experience in operating Apache, nginx, HAProxy, Varnish, memcached and other web technologies;
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language (PHP preferred);
• Good knowledge or previous experience with Cloud Services (AWS, OpenStack...);
• Good knowledge or previous experience on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies, along with related tools (Jenkins, Bamboo...);
• Knowledge or previous experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet...).
