Tommy Hilfiger ricerca: Business Systems Analyst Oracle Bi.
Position Description
One of the BI solutions within Tommy Hilfiger is Oracle BI. Oracle BI is meanly used within the area of wholesale Sales Reporting and Retail Sales and Stock reporting. The last years the many reporting areas have been added and the Oracle environment has become important.
Main Role: Daily monitor the system BI system and related jobs to ensure all reports are up to date. Analyse existing processes, cubes and views whether tuning or optimizing is required to improve performance, further liaison with Oracle Database Administrators to manage also the technical part of the environment.
Also work with users to collect new reporting requirements and proceed with developing of new reporting areas, adapt extractions from SAP or other systems. Further documenting, supporting users and testing will also be a part of the function
Tasks:
1. Manage RFCs;
2. Create technical design;
3. Make mappings;
4. Do data validation;
5. Test;
6. Document;
7. Provide first line support by solving incidents;
8. Daily checks;
9. Interact with Oracle Database Administration to optimize the environment;
10. Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Position Requirements
The role requires:
1. HBO or University degree in Information technology or Economics;
2. Oracle BI experience with creating reports and managing the repository;
3. Experience with an ETL tool, preferable OWB 11;
4. Basic knowledge of Oracle databases;
5. Basic SAP knowledge;
6. Analytical skills;
7. Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate on all levels;
8. A commercial understanding of business processes.
