• Erasmus+ Released
The Council of the European Union, the European Commission and the European Parliament have come to an agreement about the new European programme on Education, Training, Youth and Sport. The follow-up of the Lifelong Learning Programme (running from 2007-2013) will be called Erasmus+ (previous suggestions for the name during the two-year long negotiations were "Erasmus for all" from the European Commission and "YES Europe" from the European Parliament). The programme aims to streamline and simplify all sub-programmes of the Lifelong Learning Programme into one single programme covering Education, Training, Youth and Sport. Erasmus student mobility, as part of the Erasmus+ programme, will obtain the biggest share of the budget of the new programme totalling around 14.5 billion Euros.

• Section in the Spotlight for July 2013
The July Section in the Spotlight comes from the middle of the country where SocialErasmus idea was born and their activities clearly indicate that. ESN-EYE Lodz consists of 50 active members that can enjoy Alumni Support Level: Over 9000. What do they do every day? In their own words, together with another 70 of their mentors "work every day on changing other peoples approach to the Erasmus students so that student exchange program gains more popularity and foreign students become attractive and trustworthy members of the community."
