Senior Account Manager, Merchant Services Italy

Amazon, the world’s leader in e-commerce, is expanding its B2B business and looking for a smart and ambitious Senior Account Manager, to advance his/her career within Amazon supporting and managing existing strategic third-party merchants of Selling on Amazon and Fulfillment by Amazon, selling in our different categories.

Your job will consist on driving strong business analysis and effective management of key merchants and providing support to these merchants so that they can achieve their full potential on Amazon and maximize their performance. You will have a combination of analytical and commercial skills and will work with internal development and business teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement them. In your day-to-day job, you will be faced with numerous challenges such as:
• Manage a list of top merchants and contribute to the development and implementation of account management tools in order to analyze their performance.
• Be Amazon’s main point of contact for these key partners, managing the day-to-day relationship with them. If appropriate, make sure that Key.
• Accounts are trained on Amazon’s selling tools and are fully familiar with our range of products and services.
• Identify opportunities to increase their revenue on Amazon’s marketplace.
• Ensure that these merchants conform to Amazon’s high customer experience standards and help them to take corrective measures if appropriate.
• Collect merchant’s feedbacks and requests and escalate issues limiting merchants’ growth, driving teams across the Company to prioritize and deploy fixes/improvements in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 7-8 years’ experience in account management, product management or sales management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Engineering is required. Post-graduate education is recommended.
• Highly organized and results oriented.
• Strong analytical skills (including advanced excel and database analysis).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent in Italian and English).
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• A great deal of personal initiative and strong hands-on attitude along with creativeness, decisiveness and results-driven mentality for a business-focused way of thinking.
• Proven project management skills, customer focused, extremely detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
• Proven experience in developing original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations in a competitive and ever changing business climate.
• Be interested in new technologies and a capable internet user.
• Be able to work with wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
