EURO-NET enters the EBN Community!
EBN welcomes a new Associate member, the EURO-NET Network whose headquarters are located in Potenza, Italy. EURO-NET has antenna in 13 countries: Austria, Denmark, Poland, Cyprus, Latvia, United Kingdom, Malta, Spain, Ireland, Netherlands, Romania, Estonia, Malta and Turkey.
The mission of EURO-NET Network is to foster and support the sustainable development of local communities and individuals’ empowerment through education and training, human rights, international cooperation and the development of various European projects.
The Network, that is oriented towards education and training in a long term perspective, aims to actively participate in processes of developing European citizenship through the development of various projects.
The objectives of EURO-NET are:
• To promote education and development of all people at any age as a tool to foster individual and collective grow.
• To fight all forms of discrimination with the aim of contribute to community development and to social inclusion.
• To encourage inter-cultural dialogue with the objective of promote understanding and respect between individuals from different cultures.
• To promote peace, non-violence and human rights as the only way to reach a world of equality and solidarity in which all human beings enjoy their fundamental rights.
• To conduct International cooperation projects respecting equal opportunities and the principle of self-determination of people.
