Job Purpose

The Digital Marketing Manager develops cutting-edge Digital Marketing plans that integrate with the overall Barilla America Marketing Strategy for Barilla and Wasa in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Latin America.


Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement Digital Marketing plans and initiatives coordinated with specific Marketing plans to reinforce and develop business in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
• Ensure that digital plans are designed with local business priorities, consumer behaviors and Global Digital guidelines in mind.
• Contribute to the overall development of the annual Marketing and Communication strategy and plans.
• Contribute to Media Plan definition and manage the development of online advertising campaigns.
• Develop the Brand’s Social Media presence and Editorial Plan, maintaining and developing the editorial content through the most appropriate internal and/or external resources.
• Leverage analytics and measurement tools to provide reports and KPIs to Brand teams.
• Define and deliver briefs to creative agencies in coordination with the Brand team to set business and marketing objectives.
• Liaise with external agencies to ensure management of projects as far as timing, quality and assigned budget, constantly challenging supplier costs to increase productivity and enhance the number of projects developed with the same amount of resources.
• Develop pilot projects to exploit within the Barilla global digital eco-system.
• Be a team player; nurture the Digital Marketing culture within the Marketing team.
• Connect with IT to ensure project technical feasibility and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 7 years of Digital Marketing experience in FMCG company, communications agency or freelance.
• Proven project management capabilities and ability to work on cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with agencies.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of digital networks, technologies and tools.
• Familiarity with database technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of industry trends with ability to recognize and measure consumer patterns and needs online.
• Budget management experience.
• Experience working on global team a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically as well as potentially internationally.
