Happy New Year from SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed!



we are at the beginning of a very intense year of cooperations, trainings, meetings... and here we are presenting new proposal for your and your NGO:

1) Activity Calendar 2014;
2) Accreditation process for the NGOs in South Mediterranean Countries;
3) Readings for jumping in 2014.


1) Activity Calendar 2014

SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed is preparing the new 2014 activities and it will be full of opportunities for further cooperations and implementation of new projects within Erasmus +.

In 2014 SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed will start the process of accreditation for the NGOs/associations in the South Mediterranean countries, but also will strengh the importance of "Tools for learning Strategy" and the multilingual approach in the developement of educational tools.

The path started las year about Youth Work will be continued in 2014 with another Study Visit. This year we will provide opportunity to investigate about "Youth Work in Morocco".

You can have a look to this first document (here in attachement) about our 2014 activities and as soon as the proposal will be on line in the Training Calendar you will get a notification.


2) EVS accreditation process

The European Union is launching Euromed Voluntary Service (EVS) accreditations for eight European Neighbourhood South countries – Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia.

During 2014, SALTO EuroMed Resource Centre and the Regional Capacity Building and Support Unit (RCBS) of the Euromed Youth programme, will take charge of the process of introducing accreditations of all the sending and hosting NGOs/association in the South Mediterranean Countries. As of 2015, the EVS system will be compulsory for organizations wishing to host, send or coordinate projects granted under the Erasmus+ programme and the Euromed Youth Programme.

A working group will be created in the coming months in order to launch and steer the process.
