The Microsoft Office.com International Team in Dublin Ireland is looking for an international project manager to define and drive projects that improve the Office.com experience for our international customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship; working collaboratively with their team and key partner teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that our business can count on.

Office.com is one of the largest and most visited website in the world. We are the one-stop-shop for all things related to Office, from training to templates, supporting local marketing activities and driving online sales for Office itself. Our goal is to engage customers, to drive usage, satisfaction and generate revenue for Microsoft.
In addition to having strong project management experience, the ideal candidate will have strong web and e-commerice experience as well as Search domain knowledge.
This position also requires experience with international & localization projects, including process optimization & ability to scale effectively across multiple markets.

Core Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop, publish and optimize global Web Services and processes.
• Create and continuously adapt production plans for non-standard, high-complexity projects.
• Strong technical partnership with core product & engineering/test teams on Web & Search technologies & platforms driving International requirements and delivery of scalable solutions across multiple online services.
• Continually build on your technical skills in a fast paced global Web Services environment.
• Review designs and specifications to ensure globalization & localization requirements are met.
• Anticipate project risk points and proactively escalate appropriate issues & mitigation plans to the right parties to ensure a high-quality experience for international customers.
• Build and maintain a network of effective, lasting relationships across disciplines and is seen as a trusted and valuable member of the extended team.
• Identify, articulate & champion specific international process requirements so that we are able to establish an effective balance between market specific requirements and global scale.
• Define & report on project KPIs so all key stakeholders are proactively informed of project progress.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure projects are executed to plan & with high quality, meeting established business goals.

Qualifications & Education:

Required:

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Technical Communications, or a related discipline, together with a business qualification or equivalent business experience.
• Demonstrated experience in an international, e-commerce and localization business.
• 3-7 years’ experience driving projects, with specific examples of projects that have clear results on customer & business impact.
• Strong Organisational skills, technical depth and ability to work closely with Engineering and development teams.
• Is a problem solver.
• Is results driven and highly business focused.
• Demonstrated ability to keep things simple with clear focus on root cause.
• Can show they can work with, up, down and across diverse global teams.
• Gets on well with people whatever the challenges.
• Has strong communication and presentation skills will be self-evident.
• Is a natural self-starter and is most happy doing “things” and getting ‘things done via collaboration’.
• Has proven strong impact and influence to General Manager Level.
• Is highly collaborative and communicative.
• Has high interpersonal awareness.
• Is comfortable with high level ambiguity.
• Has sound solid judgment, smart risk-taking and decision-making abilities.
• Has complex problem resolution skills (process, organizational, operational and technical).
• Has a ‘Can-Do’ attitude and approach.

• Is entrepreneurial and has an agile working style.

Desirable:
• Native-speaker fluency in a language (excluding English).
• Search industry /domain experience.
• Web publishing technologies like ASP.NET, JavaScript and other Web publishing tools and processes.
