Job Description
Sales Support Specialist - The Sales Support Specialist has the responsibility for providing sales directors and customers with technical product and services advice that demonstrate detailed product functionality in both pre- and post-sales environments. Duties are performed under minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Support


- Pre-Sales
• Proposal preparation and/or contribution to sales proposals as required, including.
• Presentation preparation.
• Product demonstration.
• Preparation of input to proposals.
• Maintain all relevant product presentations to reflect existing and planned features and functions.
• Feed relevant information gathered into product planning process.

- Post-Sales
• Advise and assist account and project management, as required, in the support of new and current customers.
• Ensure that any post-sales services offered are maximized for revenue earning, by prior consultation with account, project and/or product management.

Consulting
• Offering consulting advice and expertise to current or potential new customers.
• Effectively manages the customer relationship for specific project at an operational level which could include creating plans and enhancing partnerships with customers providing advice.

Research and Analysis

Gather feedback from all relevant sources relating to current industry requirements, including:
• RFI/RFP submissions from potential customers.
• Contacts with current customers.
• Contacts with potential customers, e.g. pre-sales calls.
• Sales colleagues in same or other regions.
• Trade publications & relevant websites.
• Attendance at conference or trade exhibitions as directed.
• Feed information gathered into the product management and planning process.

Presentation Preparation
• Maintain ‘standard’ presentations within relevant product and services areas for use as required in pre- and post-sales situations.
• Ensure that all relevant information gathered from Research and Analysis, Consulting, Pre- and Post-Sales activities is available for inclusion in presentation format as required.
• Ensure periodic review of current or planned presentation materials with direct management.
• Organizing other materials and putting together notebooks for presenters and/or other participants.

Training
• Prepare and develop advanced or custom training curriculum and materials for customers, employees, or distributors.
• Direct instruction of employees, distributors or customers to enable them to properly accomplish their duties and responsibilities using Euronet products.

Presentation Delivery
• Designing presentation content, selecting and using presentation tools, and effectively present ideas, thoughts, and concepts to colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Presentation delivery would be undertaken in pre- and post-sales situations, in internal training or product update situations, and via face-to-face, Webex or other visual conferencing methods.
• Where deemed necessary, presentations would be accompanied by additional handouts and supplementary materials.

Customer Coordination
• Works directly with customers from various areas of the client’s business where the employee has the responsibility for insuring that tasks are accomplished.
• Directly interact with customers, under the guidance of account or project management.
• On-site coordinating and conducting status report meetings, executing the on-site project plan, scheduling and leading exit interviews, and coordinating training efforts.

Job Specifications:

EDUCATION

Minimum

• Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration or related fields.
• 5+ years of business experience plus proven ability to provide guidance/training on an international scale with multi-vendor involvement.

Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree with specific experience in project management/product development for financial software

Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of ITM, Euronet software products and IBM iSeries platform.

Required

• Working knowledge of payment card processing; issuer and acquirer functions; debit, credit and smart card functionality and other electronic financial transactions. Desired
• Basic sales and sales awareness skills. Desired
