Job Description:
Project Manager – Multi-vendor, Cross Company Environment Responsible for overseeing project management of products / projects in a multi-vendor, multi-company environment. Responsible for process management and improvement for development. Responsible for the training, development and supervision of financial software contract in a multi-vendor, international product / project delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managerial

- Manage all aspects of Product Development Projects & Tasks.
- Ensure development and implementation are on time and fulfilling the goals of the department and company.
- Provide guidance/training, trouble shooting and next steps where applicable.
• Project Management & Process Management: (International).
• Create and ensure project timelines & prioritization for multiple vendors, business units and business partners.
• Track & report project status.
• Conduct cost analysis.
• Facilitate every step in the process (project initiation, formulation review, quote approval, assist with testing/approval, packaging specifications.
• Manage joint requirements planning sessions involving multiple vendors and quality control review.
• Continuous follow up & communication.
• Seek to develop improvements to processes or create processes where applicable.
• Oversee processes & workflow for Pre Development and development functions.
• Oversee timely & accurate completion of executive reports requested by management on weekly and monthly basis.
• Conduct vendor meetings via phone conference or agreed meeting location to obtain project status.
• Conduct internal meetings to report project status.
• Maintain accurate records (electronic and paper) of project details.
• Inform management immediately of any interruption/delay of the project’s timeline.
• Create & circulate necessary reports to various business units and third parties.
• Oversee the creation of agendas, participant coordination and meeting planning.
• Creating and delivering presentations regarding business requirements and assisting in product presentations.
• New Product Concepts.
• Communication & Reporting
• Managing Joint Requirements Planning Sessions (JRPs)
- Attending and keeping detailed notes of JRP sessions to document discussions and decisions during the JRP;
- Making assignments for follow up items, next steps and JRP document completion

Job Specifications:

Minimum

• Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of business experience plus proven ability to supervise/manage subordinates and provide guidance/training on an international scale with multi-vendor involvement.

Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree with specific experience in project management/product development for financial software.

Skills and Abilities
• Ability to lead individuals/teams and provide training internally and externally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer: Excel (data storage, manipulation & analysis), Word and PowerPoint, Internet.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment in a highly organized fashion.
• Ability to work independently with little direction from management and accept a fluid/evolving environment.
• Ability to critically read technical documents/formulations, identify and troubleshoot challenges, and analyze next steps/timing.
• Ability to interact with sales, marketing, and technical professionals.
• A passion for international software projects and delivery.
