Seniority/Experience Requirement: 3 - 5 years.
Education Requirements: University degree.
Language Skills: English proficiency mandatory, Spanish (not mandatory).

Job Description:
• Developed skills in negotiating, problem solving, analytical approach, strategic sourcing and project management. External network with Suppliers.
• Assures the quality of the information provided to suppliers, verifying that technical specifications and product descriptions are being provided.
Identifies eligible suppliers to participate in bids, preparing those bids with all data on the required products and short-listed suppliers.
• Purchases the best product offering the best value-for-money in the market, assessing economic and technical information on the proposal submitted by each supplier.
• Optimizes purchasing processes, improving the quality of proposals through better materials and services alternatives, checking that suppliers have enough materials stock and service capacity and identifies areas of opportunities through substitution of quality equipment and parts, with similar technical specifications and lower costs.
• Tracks and maintains purchasing records file in the IT system.
• Understand the relevant safety parameters associated with each type of purchase, and select suitable suppliers accordingly (ie: Safety indicators, HSE audits results).
• Negotiating, problem solving, analytical approach, strategic sourcing and project management.
• Knowledge of operative systems: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Main decisions to take:
• Define particular terms and conditions, select the most convenient supplier balancing price and quality of service and award the contract.
• Proved experience with Capex purchases for relevant Investment in local market will be a plus.
• Prioritize recurrent service requests and special projects to achieve customer service and consistent improvements in cost and service.
• SAP - Procurement Module.
• Seek input and feedback from Supply Chain.
• Continuously evaluate service levels and initiate change when necessary.
