Zalando ricerca: Senior Tester - It Quality Assurance (F/M).
Zalando Technology is the base of our e-commerce platform. We’ve developed most of that base in-house: the shop, internal systems and our logistics software. We work in short cycles in order to adapt our software continuously to our processes.
We mainly use open source solutions when it comes to development and system operation and work in small, agile teams. The technology department comprises the teams of feature and platform engineering, product management, quality assurance and business intelligence. Every team is central to the perfect shopping experience which millions of customers have at Zalando.
Senior Tester - It Quality Assurance (F/M).
You will be part of a team with a range of varied and exciting tasks. We are awaiting your ideas and suggestions! You will be responsible for checking software for quality and carrying out your own tests as well as analysing and documenting information and errors.
What you are going to do
• You carry out tests on the back end processes of our eCommerce software according to defined test cases in feature and system tests.
• You will organise special tests such as security tests and support test automisation.
• You will identify any weakness or errors in the software and rectify them as well as organising any tests.
• You will analyse the live system and find any errors in edge cases then plan any corrections.
• You take responsibility for processes or test projects.
What we expect from you
• Completed degree in IT and at least 2 years experience in quality assurance.
• Experience with databases (SQL, Postgres, Oracle) and UNIX.
• JAVA programming experience is a plus.
• High quality awareness, ability to grasp new tasks quickly and an independent, structured approach to work.
• Good German and English skills.
