Intervita – due nuove posizioni

La ONG Intervita ha aperto due selezioni per l’identificazione di Country Administrator Cambogia e di uno Specialista progettazione per la sede di Milano. La scadenza per le candidature di entrambe le posizioni è fissata al 28 febbraio 2014.

Work Context
Intervita Onlus is an Italian, non-confessional, non-political, independent Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) cooperating for development. It collaborates with local partners in thirteen countries of the World, in order to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations and to fight against poverty and inequality. The projects of Intervita are multidimensional. They are focused onto education, health, food security, economic development, gender parity, child rights and environment. All of the activities have the fundamental component of the community participation, through which Intervita and its NGO partners aim to achieve a long term and sustainable development. Education and health are the priorities, therefore the projects are based on the Long Distance Sponsorship Programme (LDSP), which is implemented in primary schools for students of 4 to 8 years of age.
Intervita works in Cambodia in collaboration with local and International partners since 2008 in projects on children protection and education. At the moment Intervita collaborate with 9 partners implementing 7 projects in different area of Cambodia for a total average budget of 1 million Euro/year. Intervita does not implement any project but co-finance, coordinate, monitor and support the partners in the implementation of the project.

Scope of the job
To ensure the proper follow up of the admin and reporting procedures of the Intervita action in Cambodia, to guarantee the transparency and the traceability of the economic and financial data flow.

Main responsabilities
Project’s financial and accountancy monitoring: 70% of working time
Support the Intervita implementing partners in Cambodia in the projects financial management and cost efficiency balance: definition of the project budget, budget follow up and expenditure projection at partner Office Central level and Field Branches.
Support the Intervita implementing partners in Cambodia in managing the project accountancy and the Prima Nota: assure with monthly meetings and monthly field visits that the partner is implementing properly the Intervita procedures and follow the Intervita financial norms.
Assure that the financial reports prepared by the partners are properly compiled and all the attached documents are eligible for the Intervita financial norms.
Office financial management: 10% of working time
• to implement all financial office procedures: assure the cash forecast, the management of the cash flow (in/out), the relationships with the bank, the financial authorisation of the expenditures;
• to participate to the financial management of the office in collaboration with the Country Representative: drafts and updates budget follow up and projection.
Manage the accounting and administrative document filing 10% of working time
Responsible for the monthly closing : check all invoices; transmits all document before the 10th of the following month to the Intervita head quarter in Milan; codify the invoices and enter them in the Intervita format; reconcile balances in the physical cash book and in the accounts. File accounting documents. File rental contracts (leases, vehicles, etc.).
Support the Country Representative in the human resources and logistics management 10% of working time
• To define, under the supervision of the Country Representative, the human resource policy of the Intervita Office according to the Cambodian law and the Intervita standards and define an internal staff regulation.
• To implement all the human resource procedures and assure the exact and exhaustive payment of the monthly salaries and income tax deduction. To follow the regular update of the staff files.
• To ensure the implementation of the staff regulation in the office. To ensure that each disciplinary action is documented, justified, compliant to the law and staff regulation.
• To support the Country Representative in the logistic management of the office.
• To manage Long Distance Sponsorship Program Logistic and Administrative issues: planning and follow-up of child cards and drawings campaign; supervise materials items purchase; supervise per diems of voluntaries and national staff during campaigns.
