Contact making event "Erasmus+ Intro"

SALTO EECA & Turkish, Austrian, German, French, Hungarian and Polish National Agencies is looking for 4 facilitators: from Programme Country and from countries of Eastern Partnership and Russia.

Description

The aim of the CME "Erasmu+ Intro" is to enhance the cooperation between organisations from Programme and Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia within Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ Programme Learning Mobility of Individuals for Young People and Youth Workers.

PBA Duration: Four working days, from 2nd till 5th of December. The team will arrive one day earlier for preparation and stay longer for evaluation.

CME Place: Turkey, Antalya.

Prep-meeting: Two working days, will take place in Istanbul on 22 - 23 September 2014.


OBJECTIVES OF THE CME

• Building new qualitative partnerships between Programme Countries and partners from Eastern Partnership (i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and from Russia;
• Bringing together people working with young people and youth workers in order to create new project ideas within the new Erasmus+ programme in the youth field;
• Providing knowledge about the possibilities of cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme Key Action 1 for young people and youth workers;
• Creating an atmosphere of common understanding between people representing different cultures, working styles, etc.;


PARTICIPANTS

The CME "Erasmus+ Intro" will bring together 60 voluntary and professional youth workers from Programme Countries , Eastern Partership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and from Russia: youth leaders and project coordinators working directly with youngsters, who are interested in setting up Erasmus+ Learning Mobility projects for young people and youth workers.


PARTICIPANTS PROFILE:

• Active youth workers;
• Have motivation to develop new projects within Learning Mobility of Individuals for young people and youth workers with cooperation with Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia under Erasmus+ programme;
• Be entitled to initiate projects on behalf of their organisation;
• Available to actively attend the full duration of the course;
• Able to communicate in English, the working language of the seminar.


Requested trainer profile

FACILITATORS SHOULD:

• have excellent knowledge of the European Community's Youth in Action programme and a good knowledge of Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme, in particular Key Action 1 Learning mobility of individuals;
• be experienced in cooperation between Programme and Neighbouring Partner Countries, especially from Eastern Partnership region and Russia;
• have ability to give a theoretical input in such fields as International Youth Work, European Citizenship, Project Management, Group Dynamics & Motivation, Intercultural Learning, Youth Participation in youth exchanges, Non-formal Education;
• have very good level of both spoken and written English language (knowledge of Russian will be an asset);
• be familiar with educational approaches relevant in the Non-Formal learning / International Youth Work sector;
• be able to draw for their work as a trainer from a variety of formal, informal and non-formal learning experiences.

Working conditions

FACILITATOR'S TASKS:

• to be prepared before and actively attend the preparatory meeting in Istanbul on 22-23 of September 2014;
• to take care of theoretical and practical preparation of the participants prior they arrival for the event;
• to reconfirm the preparations of the PBA also 1 day before the event and evaluate it 1 day after it (arrival of team on 30th of November or till the morning of 1st of December), team departure Saturday 6th of December from afternoon);
• to facilitate the CME for about 60 participants;
• to evaluate the CME;
• to prepare the event's report;
• writing up electronically all new methods and tools used during the training onto the Toolbox on the SALTO website.


FINANCIAL CONDITIONS:

Taking into consideration the nature of CME each Facilitator will be paid 1440 EUR (240 EUR per working day plus 50% for preparation, report and evaluation)

In addition, travel, board and lodging of the Facilitators will be covered both for the prep-meeting and event itself. The amount will be paid upon compilation of the work.

Turkish, Austrian, German, French, Hungarian and Polish National Agencies of Erasmus+ Youth Programme and SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus.
