Technical Skills:
• Excellent understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent understanding of Linux and network security concepts.
• Familiar with other operating systems including Solaris, AIX and Microsoft Windows Server.
• Good understanding of hardware and computer architecture.
• Experience with C/C++/Java, able to read source code effectively for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience writing scripts using BASH or Perl to troubleshoot and correct Linux issues.
• Familiar with Apache, OpenSSL, OpenLDAP, OpenSLP, mySQL, SSH, NFS, NIS, Samba and Postfix.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux systems.
