The candidate will contribute to the realization of new chemical processes in the fields of bio materials, fine chemicals, petro chemistry, or food. The candidate will work on different projects within a development environment, where he/she will design and develop novel processes. He/she will contribute to successfully scaling up from lab to pilot to production scale.
Requirements:
• PHD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related
• 5 years of relevant R&D experience in the chemical or food industry
• up-to-date knowledge of (bio) reactor engineering
• able to design and perform laboratory and pilot-scale experiments
• able to translate results from laboratory tests into pilot plant scale processes
• experience with Aspen Plus, Matlab, or comparable.
• motivated to work in Netherlands
