Training Course "Supporting youth creating green start-ups"

Description
The TC “Supporting youth creating green start-ups” will take place in Asturias, Spain on 16-24 April 2015 and is the first stage of the long-term project “Green Entrepreneurship”. This TC aims to train youth workers and coordinators to support young people in their organisations and communities who want to become entrepreneurs.
The objectives of the TC are:
- To train youth workers' and coordinators' skills so they can support young people who have start-up ideas;
- To explore ways to develop creativity and innovative thinking in youth;
- To discuss the needs and future perspectives of environmentally friendly businesses;
- To explore and develop tools on how to create environmentally friendly start-ups;
- To share ideas on how to encourage and empower young people to develop their green start-up initiatives.
Requested trainer profile
We are looking for one trainer with specific knowledge, skills and experience in the field of entrepreneurship. The trainer should be based in one of the Programme Countries (Erasmus+).
Requirements:
You are welcome to apply if you have experience with:
• Entrepreneurship initiatives, preferably social and/or “green” initiatives;
• Non-formal education and group facilitation;
• Running international youth activities;
• Working in an intercultural team;
• Working and communicating fluently in English.
Working conditions
The responsibilities of the trainer will be:
• Join preparatory skype meetings;
• Prepare methodology for sessions in advance (session outlines);
• Attend preparatory meeting 1 day before the start of the TC;
• Attend the whole duration of the TC;
• Hold evaluation with trainers and preparatory team.
The compensation will be 1150 EUR. Travel, vegetarian food and accommodation will be covered for all trainers.
Team composition
The trainer will work in a team of 3 trainers and a project coordinator.
